SMART INVOICING NOTICE
The Value Added Tax (Amendment) Act No. 27 of 2023 and the Value Added Tax (Electronic Invoicing System) Regulations, SI No. 58 of 2023 makes it mandatory for Companies to issue electronic invoices.
Thus, starting 1st July 2024, all Lunsemfwa Hydro Power Company registered local vendors are required to share electronic invoice in line with the Zambia Revenue Authority Smart Invoice principles. Note that non-compliance will affect payments.
